This article is about how the California Public Utilities Commission is going to spend $120 million to put in chargers for electric cars. These chargers will be built by NGR Energy Inc. This is a big and first step for the charging industry. So then they so exactly what money is going to be used for what during this long process. They hope for the area to be based on this infrastructure by at least 2015, with the area being able to support one million zero emission cars by 2020.
I think this will be a big change in a good direction for that area. The only thing i'm worried about is that not that many people will take to the new zero emission cars as much as they think. Because if they don't then it would be a waste of money. Although it is was better for the environment because these cars don't burn fossil fuels that get into our environment, thus speeding up global warming. So I do hope these cars are well liked so that we car try to slow down the effects of global warming.
Interesting! I heard that Hawaii has already done this - expensive to import all their gas and self contained island - that they could make the infrastructure transition easier. YOu should check and see how it is going there - or whether I'm wrong.
