English Soccer Concerned About Euro 2012 Racisim

The head presient of UEFA, has raised some concern about the players and fans that could be racially abused at the European Championship matches in Ukraine. Athorities have been warning about crazy soccer fans that could cause violence at the tournament this summer, which is co-hosted with Poland. A strong British police force will be present in Poland and Ukraine. This is not the first time European Soccer will be effected by racisim since the pas 2 years, racisim has been present at soccer games.
In my opinion, Soccer is a very popular sport around the world and it's fans are very dedicated and crazy. There emotions run too high and the innocent fans and the hardworing players will be the victums of these violent, un-educated, and racist fans. Police must take a stand to protect the players and the citizens and to also let the soccer games be played. It will be intresting to see if the fans in Poland and Ukraine can be controlled and not disrupt the Euro Cup.
The most significant things I have learned overall on my topic are that racism still happens in Europe and it occurs very often, the media helps the racisim spread, and America's sports are being ruined by racisim. Racism still occurs very often in Europe and is a very big distraction to  the world of Soccer. Racisim over in Europe is like how racisim was in the 50's and 60's of America. It is that bad. Also the media blows things out of proportion and is a main reason on why the Racisim is often brought up in unnessasary times. America's sports are being ruined by racisim today and not just America's sports but the whole entire world's sports are being ruined. So much racisim occurs behind everyone's backs without the whole world knowing it.Things happen off the field that ruin the actual sport. Athletes, coaches, fans, and media need to relize that with racisim, no sportsmanship is shown. Be a good sport by not being racist or judgemental. Just go out and play the game and have a good time.
