An atrocities is a extremely cruel act mostly used in war. This has been a big problem in Africa and all over the world, and almost always used in mostly every war. The United States has created the Atrocities Prevention Board which helps improve early warnings and immediate response for mass atrocities. This is a big commitment to help with all the issues in Africa about the atrocities. This APB program helps prevent counter genocide and mass atrocities. People are starting to have their doubts, due to previous failures of these types of programs. The U.S. has found this very difficult to response and often is either too little or too late. In the 1990s, the government tried to make a program like this, and it didn't even outlive the Clinton Administration.
I think this is a good idea and its a start. With all the technology in the world, this shouldn't be that hard to master in time. Once the U.S. and other countries learn what to do to make this successful, this could easily stop all the genocide and save millions of lives. The only set back they have, that I can think of, is that they can't always track were all the RUF and other soldiers may be before they attack. All in all, this is a good idea and could be a very successful program, just when they learn to use it.
