FINAL- Cod growing due to global warming

Basically this article tells about a study that was taken over the COD in the arctic and or ICE-LAND. The scientist thought that the COD here would become smaller and smaller over time due to global warming. But this happens to not be the case. The COD are actually getting bigger! They believe this is happening because when the sea water gets warmer all the life processes in the COD speed up. But this isnt all fine and dandy either. The higher temps alter the ecosystem then causing the composition of the crustaceans that the COD feed on to change.

The three most valuable and interesting things that I learned while researching the topic of Global Warming start with Farming. And how the global warming is making it harder for rice to be grown in the rice bowl which will harm their growth because rice is a major part of their diet. Another interesting thing I learned about was how the U.S. and or California was pressing for electric charging stations to be put in, they wanted to do this so it would be easier for people with electric cars. They also thought this might help make other people want to convert which I agree is a great idea. The last thing I learned that I found extra interesting is from my article above and how global warming is good and bad in the same area for these fish. I find it interesting on how different every place and or organism is effected differently by global warming.
