North Korea Jams South Korea
It is said that North Korea has been busy trying to jam South Korean Air Traffic Navigation. The jamming began on April 28 and continues today. It is said at over 250 aircraft have been effect by the North Korean air jamming. Planes from Korean Air, Japanese Airliners, Fed Ex, other airliners are the companies most effect by the North Korean jamming scheme. Luckily, all of the planes have been able to stay on course and land safely due to other navigation equipment on the plane. The biggest thing effect by the jamming equipment is take offs and landings. Also, it seems that the 38th Parallel is the hot spot for the jamming equipment. This coming shortly after there failed satellite launch.
North Korea is really unpredictable and peculiar in there methods to try and isolate themselves from the world. I do not understand why they are jamming the skies around North Korea. It just makes me wonder if they are trying to cover something up. Knowing North Korea, they probably have something weird to back up why they are jamming the skies. I just do not understand North Korea. I thought with a new leader, things would calm down. They only seem to be getting worse at the moment though.
It seems like North Korea is just looking for South Korea to react and do something. I think jamming the navigation equipment in pointless and will not help either country. The leaders of North Korea are not the smartest people, by looking at their track record. They do things that I would not expect them to do and their actions seem to be pointless, except for the fact that they are annoying. I hope that the their goal is not to get South Korea to react to their actions, because that could lead to bad situations for both sides.
ReplyDeleteUnpredictable and peculiar is right. Maybe they are trying provoke like Courtney said, and bluff to make us think they are trying to hide something at this embarrassing stage in their history. They seem to have to always be in the newspapers though. Hmmmm?
ReplyDeleteNorth Korea is trying to prove themself as a dominate nuclear power, but in realality, I think they are fake. I see the tensions between the two countries getting higher and higher, and soon enough I think their truce will be broken.
