War On Terror

http://www.alliraqnews.com/en/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&id=10616:car-bomb-goes-off-in-northern-babel-&catid=36:security&Itemid=37

In the this article it tells about a car bomb that happened in Babel, Iraq today.  It wasn't too lethal only two civilians were inured. The bomb went off near a parking garage near the hospital. Because this is an Iraq source though I am sensing a lot of bias. They haven't really given much information on the explosion or what possibly caused it. I can assume it was a terrorist group such as Al Qaeda. For all the articles I have seen from this region I have seen the same bias.

This semester I have learned many things from researching my topic in depth. One thing is that terrorist attacks are much more prevalent then I thought. Before this I thought they only happened every once in awhile. But after researching I found that multiple attacks are happening every day especially in countries such as Iraq. Another thing I have learned is that in almost all cases these people feel like what they are doing is justified. They don't do it just to kill, but they feel like they have to do it for religious or other reasons. Finally I learned that terrorism isn't something that is selective to a region. What I mean by that is it literally happens everywhere. I found places like Africa and France where I never knew terrorism was happening. I think it was really helpful being able to focus just on one topic, it helped me to really learn about my topic.
