It looks like Ron Paul has been doing better than what the mainstream media has been saying for the past couple months. Republican presidential candidate Ron Paul has come in close battles in many states such as Iowa, Nevada, Maine, and North Dakota. However, the important thing in the race is the amount of delegates candidates have at the Republican National Conference in Tampa, FL in late August. At state conferences, Ron Paul has been racking up the majority of delegates in states such as Iowa, Nevada, Maine, North Dakota, Missouri, Minnesota, Massachusetts (yes, Mitt Romney's own state), and more to come. It looks like Ron Paul will have a strong showing at the national convention and this race is not entirely over.
I as an avid Ron Paul supporter was behind this delegate strategy when Dr. Paul first spoke of it. The mainstream media definitely underlays the amount of support Paul really has. It's not known exactly how many delegates Ron Paul has, but it will be a substantial amount at the convention enough for him to get on the ballot for Republican nominee. The convention will be interesting to see if Santorum and Gingrich delegates sway towards Ron Paul to represent the anti-Romney vote this coming August.
I was gone on Friday and missed the "Why Do They Hate Us?" assignment. When people were blogging, I was doing that assignment. Not sure if this excuses me from not getting full credit, but it's your decision :/
