Many species have died due to recent global warming in the arctic, scientists say. Penguins and polar bears are very endangered of becoming extinct. Biologists believe global warming is actually here do to these recent extinctions of many types of animals, including land-dwelling frogs and 200 other cold dependent animal species. Animals that can adapt to warmth may not become extinct but other animals are in serious trouble.

People need to start believing in global warming and reduce their fossil fuel use. Many animals are becoming extinct and ice is melting which raises sea level. Sea levels rising is evidence of global warming. Many animals that cannot adapt to the warmer environment, I think will become seriously endangered.

  1. I agree with you, a lot of people in the world today know the word global warming, but they don't do anything to help stop it. Global warming will take over and lead to threatening circumstances. Animals are not the only thing that are going to be hurt from it. We need to stop global warming.

  2. Global warming is a huge problem, and I agree many people just act like its not a big deal. Its leading up to some serious problems to the arctic animals, which I think everyone can agree is upsetting. I think its just ridiculous that people dont believe in global warming.. We have many things to prove the damage done so far!

  3. Even for global warming denyers... they have to admit that theoretically the carbon emissions we are trying to curb ARE in fact harmful, so whether they believe we are in as dire straits as some think we are, we should start to bite the bullet and start doing right by the planet - NOW.

  4. In my opinion the recent warm temperatures are harming many different species. Whether they are from global warming of the earth going through a normal cycle where there is just a fluctuation in temperatures, well that is for the scientist to debate. Besides the temperature factor, dwindling species is a topic that should be addressed. There is more than one reason they could be becoming extinct pollution and poaching could be contributors in the growing endangered species. I just wanted to point out that sea levels rising is not the only reason for the endangered species.
