North Korea to Hold Special Party Conference Ahead of Satellite Launch

North Korean officials will hold a special party conference on April 11 to discuss issue involving the much anticipated test launch of its ballistic missile and satellite. It is also suspected that the North Korean Workers Party will name Kim Jong-Un secretary-general. This means the Kim Jong-Un will consolidate more power within the North Korean political system. This is an important event in North Korea due to the fact that they want to commemorate Kim II Sung memory on his birthday by launching these tests to prove North Korean domination in the region. This could cause international issues due to the fact that the world still does not want North Korea to conduct these test because they do not believe that it is for peaceful reasons.  

Reaction:

As I stated in my last post, North Korea is treading in some dangerous waters. North Korea does not seem to get the fact that they are causing world panic related to their missile and satellite tests. With this change in party structure also, Kim Jong-Un in consolidating more and more power and seems to be even crazier then his father Kim Jong-Il. The U.N. and the U.S. need to do something about North Korea. They can not just exchange food supplies for a stoppage of there programs every time. We need to put our foot down and be more strict toward North Korean policy.
