Ozzie Guillen Fidel Castro Comments:http://abcnews.go.com/Sports/wireStory/marlins-suspend-ozzie-guillen-games-16107820#.T4RatlGvLTo

A lot has happen in the Miami Marlins organization, with former manager of the Chicago WhiteSox Ozzie Guillen's comments on Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. Ozzie went on to say,  "he loves Castro and respects the retired Cuban leader for staying in power so long". Its cause a lot of erratic behavior in Miami , with some of the population being people who have fled Fidel Castro's mistreatment. I am a fan of Ozzie but sometimes statements are meant to stay within thyself, he has offended a lot of people, and has recently as of today been suspended for 5 games for the comments. So I believe after this athlete's will watch what they say next time, as an example of this situation.

  1. I have meet Ozzie Guillen in person and can honestly say that he is a very nice guy and a very good baseball manager. His 5 game suspension hurts the new organisation of the Miami Marlins. Ozzie will learn from his mistake and hopefully watch what he says to the media.

  2. I watched Ozzie's news conference and he seemed very sorry for his actions. He spoke the first part of the news conference in his native Latin language so you could tell he was trying to connect to the Latin American population that he hurt with his comments. I think the 5 game suspension was maybe a little harsh, but the Marlins are showing that all actions that hurt people will be punished. I think Ozzie will get over this and learn to not make any more comments that could possibly hurt people because he seems like a nice guy, he just needs to keep some things to himself.
